Introduction

Congratulations!

By this point in the course, you have accomplished a lot!

You have become familiar with basic ballet terminology and positions, as well as the structure of class, and you have practiced the beginner versions of all the basic positions and exercises.

You probably feel like it is a lot to remember, and it is. But you have this course to help you and can always review the lessons on any device you have. And its your forever! And you will also receive any updates that are added to it in the future, so once you complete the course, check back often for any updates and new lectures being added.

In this module, I will share with you some of the fun and beautiful aspects of being an adult ballerina. Things such as ballet photography, performance opportunities, adults-only dance intensives, and more.

As you progress, you will find that these activities are a way to express yourself within ballet, and to share your passion. Some of them might resonate with you and some might not.It is entirely up to you how you chose to express your passion. That is the great thing about ballet for adults; you are free to chose how seriously you take it, and how much you share it.

My hope for you, dear students, is that first of all, you will find joy in your practice, in all of it; joy in the discipline and the rigor, and in the freedom that dancing provides. And that if you choose to share any aspects of your journey with the rest of the adult ballet community, you find joy in that as well. We are here, and we support you!

If you have found or are looking into any other ways to share your love of ballet with the world, please share them in the comments! I would love to hear your stories and I am sure others would to.
